Description
Enjoy an intimate, fun, and completely hands-on Japanese dining experience at OKU. In this Sushi Class, you will learn step by step the basics of making sushi from scratch: handling the rice, selecting ingredients, assembling techniques, basic cuts, and presentation of pieces. No prior experience is needed; the class is designed so that anyone can enjoy, learn, and eat very well in the process.
During the experience, the chef guides the participants in a close and dynamic manner, explaining not only how to prepare sushi but also little Japanese cooking secrets that make the difference between “making a roll” and really understanding what you are preparing. It is an ideal activity for couples, groups of friends, celebrations, travelers looking for a different local experience, or work teams wanting to bond outside the usual routine.
The experience includes all the necessary materials for the class and a complete dinner with what is prepared during the session.
