From daily commutes and chance encounters to holidays, migrations and imagined journeys, being elsewhere can sharpen observation and shift perspective. In this session, we'll explore how poets write place, movement, and the experience of seeing the world anew.

This popular workshop series invites you to explore a different poetic theme every fortnight. You’ll take inspiration from life, art, music, nature, the city & of course poetry – reading published work, responding to writing prompts, giving each other feedback and most importantly connecting with fellow poetic souls! Everyone should leave with the beginnings of one or two poems & plenty of inspiration to keep writing.
