Description
Carlos Vives will perform on December 3rd at Navarra Arena in Pamplona, in a concert framed within the celebration of Navarra Day and which will be his only date on the European continent. The event will be part of his Tour Al Sol and will bring together, on a particularly significant day for the Foral Community, one of the great names in Latin music in a show that will connect his greatest songs with the sonic universe he has built throughout his career.
Carlos Vives has developed his own musical language from the fusion of vallenato, traditional Colombian sounds, and contemporary pop and rock, bringing the music of his country to audiences around the world. His career includes two Grammy Awards and 18 Latin Grammy Awards, as well as recognition as the Latin Recording Academy's 2024 Person of the Year. Songs such as La tierra del olvido, Fruta fresca, Déjame entrar, Volví a nacer and La bicicleta, alongside Shakira, are part of a repertoire that has transcended generations and borders.
In 2026, Vives has opened a new chapter with El Último Disco Vol. 1, a work that returns to the essence of live music and to the roots that have defined his entire career. The album features collaborations with Juan Luis Guerra, Sergio George and Niña Pastori, and once again brings to the foreground the land, identity and memory — recurring themes in his work and also present in the spirit of this tour.
The concert is part of the Navarra Day celebrations, promoted alongside the Government of Navarra, Marca Navarra and NICDO, and adds to the commitment to positioning the Foral Community as a stage for major cultural and musical events with national and international reach.
