In view of the yellow heatwave warning declared by Météo France for Paris and Île-de-France until including Monday, July 6, and the forecasts for the following days, and in accordance with the Government's heatwave plan, the local organizing committee of the Special Olympics Unified Football World Cup Paris 2026 has decided to adapt the match schedule.
Guaranteeing the health, safety and well-being of players, coaches and supervisors, referees, organizing teams and fans is the priority of the organizing committee. That is why matches and other activities have been rescheduled from July 7 to 11 inclusive to the least hot times of those days. All activities on July 6 for the opening ceremony are maintained without change.
