Mexico-Mexico-Mexico! Abel Quezada between art and sport
Within the framework of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, this exhibition brings together cartoons, paintings, watercolors and archival material by Abel Quezada, one of Mexico's great visual chroniclers. Through this selection, the exhibition reveals how sport inspired his critical, ironic and deeply human perspective.
From football to baseball, from boxing to tennis, the exhibition explores the passion, humor and contradictions that run through Mexican culture, offering a journey through the work of an artist who turned sport into a way of understanding the country.

Portraits of the Empire
Browse a selection of portraits and historical documents that bring us closer to one of the most complex periods in Mexico's history: the Second Mexican Empire.
The exhibition brings together works by distinguished artists, documents signed by Maximilian and Carlota, as well as portraits of characters close to the imperial court, including Carlos Sánchez Navarro, Dolores Osio and Rafael Martínez de la Torre, Maximilian's defense lawyer during his trial. A journey that allows us to discover the relationships between art, power and history through exceptional pieces recently added to the Museo Kaluz collection.
