About the venueKreuzkirche

Die Kreuzkirche im Chemnitzer Stadtteil Kaßberg wurde in den 1930er Jahren vom Architekten Otto Bartning entworfen und gilt als bedeutendes Beispiel moderner evangelischer Kirchenarchitektur. Heute dient sie nicht nur als Gotteshaus, sondern auch als Ort für Konzerte, Vorträge und kulturelle Veranstaltungen. Sie gehört zur Ev.-Luth. St. Pauli-Kreuz-Kirchgemeinde.

Where can I find my ticket?

You'll find your ticket in the “Tickets” section of the Fever app (download it from the Apple App Store or Google Play). Please log in with the same method you used to purchase. Your QR code is also in your confirmation email — there's nothing to print.

Can I transfer my tickets?

Yes, you can transfer your tickets for free to any other Fever account. Just tap “Transfer tickets” on your ticket in the Fever app.

Can I change my ticket? Are refunds allowed?

Refunds are not allowed. However, you can change the day and/or time up to 48 hours before your originally booked slot, subject to availability — please get in touch via our contact form.

How long does the concert last?

The concert lasts around 60 minutes, with no interval. Doors open at least 30 minutes before the start; late entry is not possible.

Is the event indoors or outdoors?

The event takes place indoors, with assigned seating.

Is food or drink available?

There is no catering on site, and bringing your own food, snacks or drinks is not allowed either.

Is parking available?

There are public parking spots along Henriettenstraße, Kassbergstraße and Westraße, as well as the Westraße car park (City-Parkhaus Kaßberg).

Is there an age requirement?

All guests must be at least 8 years old. Anyone under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

Can I book a ticket for my carer?

Guests who need assistance throughout the experience are entitled to one free ticket for their carer. After buying your own ticket, send us the relevant supporting documentation.

Does the venue have disability access?

The venue is wheelchair accessible, except for the gallery/balcony.

Can I take photos or videos during the performance?

Photos and videos are only allowed, per the musicians' guidance, during the last piece and without flash. Your phone must be on silent throughout the performance.

How do I get to the venue?

By tram: lines 1 and 2 to Zentralhaltestelle (a 15–20 minute walk to the Kreuzkirche). By bus: lines 31 and 82 towards Kaßberg to the “Henriettenstraße” stop.

When should I arrive?

Please arrive at least 30 minutes before the concert starts to take your seat in the booked zone. The concert starts on time; latecomers will not be admitted, out of respect for the musicians and the audience.

Can I sit together with friends?

Yes, as long as you arrive together and all have tickets for the same zone. Arrive early so we can seat you together as best as possible.

Can I bring a pet?

No, pets are not allowed under any circumstances. Please contact us directly if you need to bring a service animal.

Are the candles a fire hazard?

No, for everyone's safety all the candles are flameless.
