Arrive early and check in
Arrive about 15 minutes before your session, check in and leave your belongings in the lockers. Late arrivals may not be admitted.
Put on your VR headset
Our team will help you put on the headset and explain how everything works, so you can simply enjoy the journey.
Explore the Great Pyramid
Walk freely in a shared virtual space for about 45 minutes, guided by a virtual guide, with staff on hand throughout.

Es war Traumhaft und sehr beeindruckend, diese Austellung topt alle, die ich bisher gesehen habe.

Fantastisch, sehr zum empfehlen

Hat mir sehr gut gefallen, eine spannende Reise per VR-Brille. War auch ein bisschen anstrengend, ständig auf alles konzentriert sein und mein Gleichgewichtssinn ist auch geprüft worden. Ich werde mir die immersive Ausstellung noch einmal ansehen 👍. Auf jeden Fall einen Besuch wert.

Es war eine unglaubliche virtuelle Reise. Mein Mann und ich waren begeistert. Die vielen Perspektiven und die fast echt wirkende Reiseleitung mit viel Witz hat uns auch gefallen.

Put on your virtual reality headset and travel thousands of years back to the heart of ancient Egypt. Explore the Great Pyramid of Giza as it was more than 4,500 years ago, walk its mysterious corridors, enter the Queen's Chamber and try to meet the goddess Bastet in a one-of-a-kind immersive expedition.

Created by Excurio and developed with Egyptologist Peter der Manuelian and the Giza Project team at Harvard University, the expedition combines architecture, science and history for an authentic, educational and unforgettable immersion.

About the venueDanube Tower

The Immersive Center Donauturm is a modern venue for digital art, immersive exhibitions, and innovative event formats. Located right next to the Danube Tower, the site combines a unique setting with a striking, contemporary building. With a focus on virtual reality, interactive installations, and multimedia productions, the center creates immersive experiences that actively engage visitors and open up new perspectives.

Is it indoors or outdoors?

The experience takes place indoors in an air-conditioned space.

How long does it last?

The virtual reality experience lasts about 45 minutes. Please allow about 1 hour in total to leave your belongings and pick up and return the equipment.

What is the minimum age?

The minimum age is 6. Minors under 14 must be accompanied by an adult.

Can I buy food and drink on site?

Soft drinks are available in the lobby, and there is also a restaurant and café at the Donauturm.

Is there parking?

There is parking at the Donauturm.

Can I change the date of my ticket? Are refunds allowed?

Date and time changes are possible up to 48 hours before your session, subject to availability: contact us with your ticket ID, or look for the "Change date and/or time" button in the Tickets section of the Fever app. Refunds are not permitted.

Can I transfer my tickets to someone else?

Yes, you can transfer your tickets to anyone for free by tapping "Transfer tickets" on your ticket in the Fever app.
