Bucket List Chats: Running the Sahara

Bucket List Chats: Running the Sahara

TickTheBucket is an organisation that aims to bring people together to be inspired, informed and to tick items off their Bucket Lists. Their debates and hosted talk evenings are part of that project and they've been scouring the globe to find people living the ‘Bucket List life’ and get them to share how you can follow in their success. This month's guest speaker at Bucket List Chats is the explorer and public speaker, Mark Llewhellin! What you get: • Ticket to Bucket List Chats: Running the Sahara • Expert talk with Mark Llewhellin Mark lives the Bucket List life. After several failed attempts to pass his basic fitness tests, Mark finally went on to serve 7 years as a British Commando. In 1999, Mark did a six-day run covering over 130 miles of the Sahara Desert (and won the race). In the year, 2000 Mark did a 1,620 mile run from Denver to San Francisco and, in 2001, Mark broke the record for the 100 Kilometre treadmill Challenge. Every time the crew at Bucket List Chats speak to Mark, he himself can't believe how his life has turned into such a success and they are proud to introduce him to you.
