Description
The Helios Gospel choir, conducted by Dominique Magloire, offers an extraordinary performance by exploring different types of gospel. It performs in the prestigious Parisian churches of Saint-Germain-des Prés, la Madeleine and Saint-Sulpice.
You will have the pleasure of hearing iconic gospel songs such as "Oh Happy Day", "Amazing Grace" and "Oh When the Saints", performed by the best contemporary French gospel artists.
Dominique Magloire developed her passion for music as a child by joining gospel choirs. She gained national and international recognition by participating in several musicals such as Gone with the Wind, Cléopâtre and The Twist Years. Her fame also led her to be involved in the productions Gospel for 100 Voices and Gospel on the Hill.
Dominique Magloire has also explored other forms of vocal art. She studied classical singing at the conservatory and won prizes in singing and chamber music. Thus, she had the opportunity to perform great classical works, such as Verdi's Traviata, Mozart's Requiem and Gershwin's Porgy and Bess.
In 2012, she was a revelation on the television show The Voice, performing songs by Johnny Hallyday. In 2015, she appeared in the musical Gospel on the Hill at the Folies Bergère. In 2019, she participated in the show Together hosted by Éric Antoine and Garou. She also appeared in the musical show Menopause, written and directed by Alex Goude. In 2021, Dominique Magloire took part in the All Stars season of The Voice to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the program. 
Thanks to her many experiences, she also serves as the artistic director of "Gospel Hélios," an ensemble dedicated to promoting gospel in the Parisian churches of Saint-Germain des Prés and la Madeleine.
