Celebrate Hip Hop History Month with PATH, Inc. at the Art of Hip Hop! Join a collaborative songwriting and recording session where creativity meets culture. Led by PATH Artist-In-Residence (PAIR) Mecca aka Grimo and 8ch2Owens of Vice City Cypher, explore emcee techniques inspired by Kool Moe Dee’s There’s a God on the Mic. Enter the cypher to sharpen your skills - then write, revise, and record a themed posse cut on-site with PATH engineer, Simbo Lumin. Whether you’re a hip hop aficionado, love to rhyme, or just love the culture, this event is one you don’t want to miss. Watch creativity come to life as we record brand new tracks in real time and jump into the raw energy of live cyphers where emcees will be spitting bars and showing off their lyrical finesse. Immerse yourself in the music, the movement, and the memories that make hip hop the global force it is today.
