Honestly, I am raving to all my friends and family about this! It was brilliant! What a fantastic idea, so much fun! We saw new parts of Manchester and loved the competition element.

What a fun way to explore Manchester! And to top it off getting #1 rank! Would thoroughly recommend to anyone visiting🫶🏻 just remember to wear good shoes!

After tackling the one in London we decided to do the Manchester one, it proved to be really good fun but due to diminishing daylight is was almost impossible to find and see a couple of the clues, even with torches but we earned the very interesting name of "lovely dawdlers" and this is so appropriate as one team member was on crutches. Staff in every venue were welcoming & puzzles within the establishments were fun. As this was our 2nd city booking we were hoping for more than a fridge magnet Cheers from DIL and Mil

Is the experience the same in every city?

No! Just as no two cities are the same, neither are these experiences — you'll get new physical puzzles, new characters and new routes wherever you race.

How does the race work?

It's a live adventure split into three legs. You race entirely on foot between checkpoints, using WhatsApp to receive clues and directions, manage your in-game budget, and track your progress on the leaderboard — all on real city streets in real time.

How long does it take?

About 2-3 hours without breaks — the fastest completion time is under 1 hour if you want to get competitive. The race timer pauses at checkpoints, so you can rest and take longer if you like.

How physical is it?

It's a foot race involving 2-3 hours of walking across about 5 kilometres (3.1 miles). You can walk or run — either way, you'll get to relax and grab refreshments at checkpoints.

Is there a minimum age?

You must be 18 or older to purchase tickets, and an adult ticket must be bought alongside any Child ticket. Children under 10 go free. Selecting the "Family-Friendly" option doesn't change the difficulty, but ensures checkpoint stops are suitable for families.

Does the race involve public transport?

No — you race between checkpoints entirely on foot, without using public transport. Start and finish locations are near transport links for easy access.

Is it accessible?

Yes. There are multiple route options including step-free routes, the game runs on your own device so the interface is one you're already familiar with, and free tickets are available for accompanying carers or support workers — just email in advance to arrange.

How many people can be on a team?

Each team has a minimum of 2 people and a maximum of 8. For bookings with more than one team, one person should book on behalf of everyone so all players end up on the same booking.

Can I change the date or time of my booking?

Yes — we do our best to be flexible and are happy to reschedule where capacity allows. Fill in the alter-booking form and we'll confirm by email once it's sorted.

Can I bring my dog?

Yes! Just select the dog-friendly route while setting up your race. Guide dogs are welcome on any route.

What if I don't have a great time?

Let us know why and we'll refund you in full.

Do I need to know the show to enjoy it?

Not at all — fans will spot a few Easter eggs, but newcomers will have no trouble understanding the rules. It's a game for everyone.
