This fall, orchids are back in bloom at the Franz Mayer Museum!
🌸
As every year, together with the Mexican Association of Orchidology, we hold the traditional exhibition and sale of orchids, dedicated on this occasion to the species that bloom during this season, many of them endemic to states such as Mexico, Michoacán, Guerrero, Oaxaca, Chiapas and Veracruz.
The exhibition honors Franz Mayer's passion for the care and collecting of orchids, a hobby that led him to become a founding member of the Association, and that remains alive in some of the specimens that you can appreciate in our central cloister.
From November 8 to 16, we invite you to tour the cloister, learn more about its cultivation and conservation, and participate in the program of activities, lectures and workshops that accompany this edition.
remember! your ticket to the expo-sale also includes:
🖼️ General admission to the museum and regular exhibitions, such as:
💜Pierre et Gilles. The construction of the symbol
🪑Architectural Furniture II by Joselo Maderista
📸 Surreal. Rodney Smith
