Puss in Boots tells the story of the heir to a poor miller. The youngest son receives only a cat as his inheritance... no great luxury, you might say, but this cat is no ordinary cat. Sporting his roguish glasses, elegant boots, and great sense of humor, the feline sets out to change his master's fortune with intelligence, songs, and a lot of artistry. Our Puss in Boots can sing, dance, and deceive (but with grace), and he never takes off his hat, not even to sleep. With the help of cunning tricks, well-presented gifts, and bold promises, he convinces the king and princess that his master is none other than the Marquis of Carabás. What's more, with his ingenuity, he snatches a castle from the fearsome ogre, turning him into an unwitting ally in the deception and thus increasing the pomposity of his owner's title.
