Candlelight brings the music of Metallica to the Beethoven-Haus in Bonn. A string quartet interprets the metal legend's songs live and anew, in a hall filled with candles. A concert experience where the power of these anthems meets the intimacy of a candlelit room.

The house where the composer Ludwig van Beethoven was born in December 1770 is one of the few preserved Bonn bourgeois houses from the 18th century. In 1989, the Beethoven-Haus association celebrated its 100th anniversary and has since housed the Beethoven Archive. A true gem of the house is the chamber music hall.

What ticket types are there?
There are tickets for Zones A, B and C.
Can I buy tickets at the venue?
No. Tickets must be purchased in advance via the Fever app or the website feverup.com.
Can I book a ticket for my carer?
Guests who need assistance throughout the whole experience receive a free ticket for their carer. A valid ticket of their own is required. After purchase, send the relevant proof via the Fever support contact form. You will then receive a voucher for the free carer ticket in the Fever app, subject to availability. At entry, you must show your regular ticket together with the carer ticket.
Is there an age restriction?
The minimum age is 8 years. People under 16 may only attend accompanied by an adult.
Can I change my ticket?
You can change the date and/or time up to 24 hours before the start, subject to availability. Contact us with your ticket ID to do so. A refund is not possible. You can find further details in the terms and conditions.
What is the Flexible Refund ticket?
At selected events, this ticket allows you a full refund if you don't attend the experience.
By when can I return a Flexible Refund ticket?
Up to 48 hours before the start. If the ticket has been transferred to another person, it is not refundable.
What documents do I need to provide for the refund?
You don't need to provide any documents.

Where does the experience take place?
In the Kammermusiksaal of the Beethoven-Haus, Bonngasse 24-26, 53111 Bonn.
How do I get to the venue?
The Beethoven-Haus is located in the centre of Bonn, on the edge of the pedestrian zone, close to the Rhine. It's just a few minutes' walk from the main train station. Trams 62, 65, 66 and 67, as well as several bus lines, stop at Bertha-von-Suttner-Platz / Beethoven-Haus; there's also a taxi rank there.
Is there food and drink available?
No, there are no drinks on sale.
Can I bring animals?
Pets are not allowed. Assistance animals are permitted; a form must be filled in beforehand.
Is the venue accessible?
The hall is wheelchair accessible in the back row (Zone C). The toilets are not wheelchair accessible.

Doors open 30 minutes before the concert starts. Latecomers cannot be admitted after the concert has begun.

The concert lasts 60 minutes. There is no interval.
Where can I find my ticket?
You'll find your ticket in the “Tickets” section of the Fever app, signing in with the same method you used to buy. Your QR code is also in your confirmation email. Tickets are fully digital, so there is no need to print anything.
Are the candles real? Are they flammable?
For everyone's safety, the candles are LED: they recreate the glow of a flame without real fire, so they don't burn and pose no risk.
Can I take photos or record videos? Can I use my phone during the performance?
Please keep your phone on silent throughout the performance. Photos and videos are only allowed when the musicians say so, and always without flash.
Is there a dress code? What should I wear?
There is no dress code. We recommend dressing comfortably, in clothes suited to the season.
How are seats assigned? Can we sit together?
Seats are not numbered: they are assigned on arrival, first come first served, within the zone you purchased. To sit together, your whole group needs to arrive at the same time with tickets for the same zone.
