Now celebrating its fifth year, The Great Canadian Horror Film Festival is dedicated to showcasing the best in independent horror filmmaking. With 28 short films from international creators, this year’s edition promises an electrifying mix of stories that will keep you on the edge of your seat. Each screening presents 15–18 short films across two nights, with audiences playing a key role in crowning the winners — filmmakers will compete for $300 cash prizes decided entirely by viewer votes. Hosted at the historic Royal Theatre, this festival is more than just a screening — it’s a celebration of creativity, suspense, and the thrilling world of horror.
