Description
El Zar is an Argentine band formed in Buenos Aires in 2016, led by Facundo Castaño Montoya (vocals) and Pablo Giménez (guitar). Their proposal combines the spirit of national rock with a contemporary pop aesthetic, building a fresh and emotional sound.
With five albums to their credit - Circulos (2016), A los Amigos (2018), Pura Casualidad (2020, with the hit "La Declaración"), Río Hotel (2022) and En Vivo en el Gran Rex (2023) which has led them to tour Latin America and Spain.
In April 2025, El Zar presents PARADISO, his new studio album and his most ambitious to date. This album marks a turning point in the group's career: a conceptual work that captures the pulse of travel, freedom and the spirit of the road.
PARADISO combines the power of national rock with a modern and luminous aesthetic, preserving the essence of the band and consolidating a unique sound identity that crosses borders. Produced by Nicolás Btesh, the album represents the artistic maturity of El Zar, accompanied by a powerful visual proposal: video clips filmed in iconic locations along the way and a narrative universe that expands with each song.
