The Experience

🌊 Submerge yourself in Tahiti’s most iconic and challenging wave — Teahupo’o. In Big Wave: No Room for Error, experience the thrill of Earth’s most treacherous surf breaks as award-winning photographer and filmmaker Bo Bridges captures the fine line between triumph and destruction in this 60-minute documentary. 

During your visit, you’re invited to explore The Hall and The Deck, where you can relax and enjoy our food and beverage offerings. The experience will begin promptly at the show start time listed on your ticket.

Big Wave: No Room for Error

🏄‍♀️ Follow the journey of Heimiti Fierro, a Tahitian surfer, as she strives to overcome her fears and conquer the legendary big waves at Teahupo’o. You’ll dive into crystal clear waters, surrounded by stunning beaches and the beauty of French Polynesia, pulsing with life and energy, and feel as if you’re inches away from razor-sharp coral reefs. In this secluded paradise, surfers risk it all to catch the perfect wave. 

This thrill ride isn’t just a documentary — it’s a raw, visceral voyage into the human spirit's most extreme frontier. Go inside the world’s heaviest waves in Portugal, Hawaii, and Tahiti and into the minds of the fearless few pushing surfing to its limits. Powered by a soundtrack featuring Pearl Jam, Glass Animals, and the musical score of 16-time Emmy award-winning composer Didier Lean Rachou, Big Wave: No Room for Error immerses you in the awe-inspiring beauty of big waves transporting you beneath the surface in Shared Reality. 

When you’re immersed in this feature, it’s like being out there on the waves with the surfers. You may experience the feeling of bobbing in the ocean, floating in water, or similar sensations to being on the ocean. When choosing your seats, anticipate that the lower you go in The Dome, such as Level 1, the more you’re immersed in the big waves. If needed, we recommend preparing for this event the way you would for going on a boat ride.
