Born in Mexico City in 1994, La Barranca is one of the most recognized rock bands for its fusion of elements of traditional Mexican music to rock, founded by José Manuel Aguilera (vocals and guitar) and currently featuring the participation of Ernick Romero (bass), Yann Zaragoza (piano and shynts), Abraham Mendoza (drums) and Jorge Chacón (guitar, backing vocals).
