Description
With this visit, conducted by the curator of the exhibition and an official guide of Tourism of Segovia, you will know in depth the old prison of the city and the Democratic Memorial of Segovia. This Memorial houses in several of its cells the permanent exhibition "Franco's Prison (1936-1977)", unique in Spain, which explains the prison system during the dictatorship. Not only does the fact that it is unique give it this importance, but it also transcends provincial geographical limits. During the dictatorship, this prison was a prominent place of confinement for women prisoners (1946-1956) and prisoners (1969-1977) of many different origins.
