Description
It is a truth universally acknowledged that a single woman in Regency England must be in want of a very stiff drink. Direct from a sellout run in Australia, the company that brought you A Very Naughty Christmas is back in the motherland to ruin another cultural icon. Equal parts hilarious comedy theatre show, and Mr Darcy’s booziest ball, Plied and Prejudice is a hilarious adaptation of Jane Austen’s classic novel, telling the tale of Elizabeth Bennet and Mister Darcy as it was never intended. Bring your single men with good fortunes, your unattached sisters, and that weird cousin with a crush on you, for a regency romance more ribald than reputable. Steady your poor nerves with a stiff drink, and strap in for a chaotic evening of amorous hand flexing, terrible proposals, and excellent boiled potatoes!
