Description
On the weekend of October 4th-6th, the city of Segovia will commemorate the 550th anniversary of the proclamation of Isabella the Catholic by traveling back to the 15th century with a host of activities and period events: markets, workshops, parades, demonstrations of trades, video-mapping shows, concerts, dances... Among all the activities on offer, the Proclamation Ceremony in the Cathedral is set to be a highlight, taking place on Saturday 5th—an exclusive historical dramatization featuring stars such as Maria Castro, as Isabella I of Castile, and Diego Dominguez, as El Velasquillo. Get ready to enjoy the arrival of the royal retinue, the re-enactment of the historical act and multiple musical, dance and acrobatic performances that will accompany the ceremony. All this with many other surprises!
