Amália Rodrigues, the Queen of Fado and Voice of Portugal, in a way that has never been seen, heard, felt, in an unforgettable sensory experience. This immersive biography of Amália Rodrigues and Fado is a surprising dive into time, her work, her history, her country and her city.
Across 700m2 and eight rooms, we invite visitors to embark on a unique sensory journey through Performers's material and immaterial estate, through impactful scenography, cutting-edge technology, dynamic and interactive content, combined with storytelling that combines the physical with the digital.
Virtual reality, a full-scale hologram, 360º projection, physical and light, sound and visual installations are just some of the experiences through which it will be possible to get to know Amália Rodrigues in her various dimensions - artistic, social, personal and international.

  • I was searching for events on the web and thought it looked interesting, so I went to see it. I was very satisfied with the result! I'm Japanese and didn't know about Amalia, but her achievements were expressed using various technologies. I was particularly moved by the beautiful images of the VR goggles. The guide taught me how to pronounce the words, as I don't understand Portuguese, and I enjoyed the unique pronunciation of Portuguese. By the way, there was an art square next door, which I also enjoyed.
