Description
Get to know the soul of Segovia! Come to the Royal Church of San Miguel, a privileged place in the history of Segovia. The collapse of the Romanesque church of San Miguel in 1532 led to the construction of a new temple in the Plaza Mayor of Segovia. The new church is of late Gothic style with a Renaissance structure and conception. Chapels, popular devotions and altarpieces encompass the history of this church, which also houses the burial place of the distinguished physician and humanist Andrés Laguna. The church is a testament to the proclamation of Isabella I as Queen of Castile, keeping her legacy alive. Get your tickets for Segovia with Soul - Royal Church of San Miguel!
