Get to know the soul of Segovia! Come to the St. Domingo Cave and marvel at the Santa Cruz la Real convent. The feast of Saint Domingo de Guzmán is celebrated every August 8. During 1219, the saint spent some months in a cave very close to the Eresma River. Later, this site saw the construction of the Santa Cruz la Real convent, historically linked to the Catholic Monarchs, who defrayed the costs of his church.
