Description
Sean Koch is an indie-folk artist from Cape Town who blends African styles and Western influence with messages of home, nature and the ocean. His  music is known for telling stories to an uplifting tempo. Although rooted in folk, his style is diverse. From dance songs like Lift You Up, the standout single from his collection, to more dreamy songs like Feel the Energy, which conveys a deeper message of connecting with the natural world and humans around us.

In the past, Sean has supported artists such as Sticky Fingers, Milky Chance, Xavier Rudd, Will & the People, A-ha, Mat McCugh/Beautiful Girls and Jeremy Loops. He has also appeared in the line-up of internationally recognized festival, including Boardmasters, Reeperbahn, Szieget, Pangea and a headlining performance at Surfana. In October 2022, he completed his fifth European tour with his bandmates Adrian Fowler and Ross Hillier, which featured multiple sold-out performances. He will be accompanied by Cesc Sansalvadó, a composer from Barcelona who began his career as a busker and over the years has collaborated with Kim Churchill and Ramon Mirabet.
