From February 17, 2026, due to improvement works in our facilities, individual visitors and groups will access through the West Facade of the building/Patio de Reyes.
To access the Monastery, it is essential to purchase tickets in advance through one of these two channels:
- Online through this website
- At the ticket offices of the Escorial Monastery Visitor Reception Center located at Avenida de Don Juan de Borbón y Battenberg 4 (in front of the north facade of the Monastery)
From October 2, the Painting and Architecture Museums will open their doors to the public; the visit to both spaces will be free of charge for those visitors who wish to explore them independently. Free entry until December 31, 2026. Ticket acquisition at the Escorial Monastery Visitor Reception Center's ticket offices. North Facade Access. The visit to these spaces will be included in the general admission to the Monastery.
New Accesses:
- North Facade of the building. Access for groups/tours and visitors who have only purchased their tickets for the visit to the Painting and Architecture Museums.
- West Facade of the building./ Patio de Reyes . Access for individual visitors to the Monastery.
