Description
In Asian tea culture, seasonal markers are the best indicators of the changing seasons through the solar calendar. Our ancestors valued the first green teas picked before the spring rains during the Cheongmyeong or Gogu periods, calling them Cheongmyeong-cha or Ujeon, and considered them the finest teas. They also enjoyed flowers in bloom, steeping them as seasonal teas, much like seasonal foods. In keeping with this tradition, the Teahouse introduces teas that align with each season and its unique characteristics.
In our tea cocktail class, you’ll learn to create cocktails using your favorite teas and receive recipes for tea syrups and cocktails that can easily be recreated at home. Enjoy a curated selection of seasonal teas and experience the gentle flavors of tea cocktails while exploring teas matched to the six levels of tea oxidation.
