Description
Your guided tour of Segovia will begin at the foot of the Aqueduct. At 2,000 years old, it’s among the world’s best preserved Roman aqueducts. Afterwards, you will walk along the so-called “Calle Real”, the main axis of the city, and discover emblematic places. Once in the Plaza Mayor, you will find the Cathedral (known as “the lady of the cathedrals”), one of the most beautiful examples of late Gothic architecture. The tour continues through the Canonjías neighborhood and ends with a guided visit of the Alcázar, an impressive castle converted into a royal residence in the 13th Century, acquiring its unmistakable Gothic physiognomy in the times of John II and Henry IV. Are you in? It’s time to enjoy your guided tour of Segovia, a World Heritage site!
