📍 Location: 8 Victoria Embankment, WC2R 2AB (include post code when finding us via google maps, it is basically underneath Waterloo bridge!)
👤 Age requirement: Embankment Hidden Jazz Club events are suitable for ages 18+. This venue does not allow under 18s; younger guests are welcome at Soho and Hoxton.
🪑Seating: Unallocated theatre-style seating. Arrive early to get first pick of seats.
🧥Cloakroom: There is no cloakroom at Eight Embankment.

IFE OGUNJOBI - the 'young don' of jazz and afro-beat trumpet has already played a main stage at Glastonbury with Ezra Collective, opened for Kamasi Washington, and worked with the likes of Solange Knowles and Jason Moran.

Immerse yourself in the atmospheric Eight Embankment, a former cabaret club now converted into an state-of-the-art space for culture and arts in the city.
Completely artist-run, fun, spontaneous, and relaxed, this is the type of space where guests are able to unwind and connect with world-class artists between sets of amazing live music. Come and witness for yourself the place where the city's vibrant jazz scene comes alive.
As musicians ourselves, we showcase artists who inspire us. We are dedicated to celebrating & representing the awesome diversity of the cities we work in, inviting wonderful musicians on the basis of their talent and performance, regardless of ethnicity, socio-economic background, age, gender, orientation etc.
We design our shows to be uplifting and welcoming experiences, enjoyable for jazz nerds and complete newcomers alike. Our vibe is unpretentious - come as you are, get involved with the music, clap & cheer when you want to!

Yes, there are seats for everyone in a theatre-style. Arrive early to have the most options as seating is unallocated.

The venue has an 18+ age policy.
Is food/drink served?
The venue bar serves a range of alcoholic & non-alcoholic drinks. Some food is available from the venue (fries [Ve & GF], margarita pizza [V], pepperoni pizza, calamari, boneless wings, nachos) in addition to bar snacks.
Is the venue fully accessible?
Yes, the ground floor is fully wheelchair accessible, with a lift servicing the mezzanine floor. If a companion ticket is required, please email robin@hiddenjazzclub.com.
Can we chat during the show?
We would prefer that the focus is on the event. TBH that doesn't tend to be an issue as the music tends to grab people's attention!
