Description
Lucca is a small town in Tuscany, in the prosperous north of Italy. There is a prison there. And a musician named Chet Baker is serving time in prison. He didn't kill anyone, but the claws of heroin dug into almost every jazz great, and Chet Baker was very big. On a par with Charlie Parker, Miles Davis or Dizzie Gillespie... but white and irresistibly handsome. Every Thursday, his jailers allow him to play a borrowed trumpet, notes that move the people because they escape through the bars of his cell. There is a woman in the alley behind the jail.
