Description
Tick Tick... Boom! tells the story of Jon, played by Daniel Daniel Diges, an up-and-coming theatrical composer in his early 30s who works as a bartender in New York. As he writes what he hopes will be the next great American musical, he faces the pressures of time and the obsession of success. It is at that moment that his girlfriend, played by Anabel García, and his best friend, with Antonio Curros in the role, try to convince him that, perhaps, as he is about to turn 30, it is too late to keep fighting for his dream. An intimate musical that tells the autobiographical story of Jonathan Larson, creator of the musical RENT, the iconic Pulitzer and Tony Award-winning show that ran on Broadway for more than 12 uninterrupted seasons, making RENT one of the longest-running musicals in Broadway history and a cultural phenomenon that transformed the history of musical theater.
