Description
The National Museum of Musical Instruments houses more than 3,000 beautiful old instruments inside, some of which date back to the 15th century. Go back in time and see these rare, now-retired beauties with your own eyes. Check out one of Bartolomeo Cristofori's last surviving pianos, dating back to 1722. There are only three of these very rare instruments left in the world (the one you find here is the one in the best condition). The world's oldest German harpsichord still in existence is another must-see item. It dates back to 1537 and is a true treasure of the Baroque period. The ancient woods will leave you breathless, while the immortal violins will play the strings of your heart in unison with the famous Barberini Harp.
