Modern Parlor Magic is an intimate evening of magic reminiscent of the Victorian era shows set in homes in New York, London, and Paris. Storyteller and magician David Carlo transports the audience to 1895, when a very unique parlor show took place at the same time legends Harry Houdini, Howard Thurston, and Chung Ling Soo wowed audiences. Located at the iconic Biltmore Hotel in a stunning, private turn-of-the-century parlor room and accompanied by live music from Solitary Science, the show astonishes with miraculous illusions, powerful mind reading, and even Carlo's version of the deadly bullet catch.
