The Basilica of Saint Martin

The Basilica of Saint Martin in Liège is a landmark religious building located on the heights of the city. Founded in the 10th century and largely rebuilt between the 16th and 19th centuries, it features remarkable Gothic architecture. Granted the status of minor basilica, it is especially known for hosting the first celebration of Corpus Christi in the 13th century and offers outstanding views over Liège and the Meuse Valley.
