About XpresidentX

XpresidentX is a provocative Spanish rap-hardcore-punk collective originating from Madrid’s iconic Palacio de la Moncloa. Formed by fictional ex-presidents disillusioned with their effortless wealth, the band uses sharp irony and theatrical performances to confront social inequality, political corruption, environmental crises, racism, and drug issues. Their distinct fusion of rap, hardcore, and punk has earned them a unique space in Spain’s vibrant music scene.

Since their debut album, "Cómete un Pobre" (2015), which won critical acclaim and was named best album of the year by La Factoría del Ritmo, XpresidentX has built a solid reputation for incisive social commentary. Their follow-up, "Resacón en Eurovegas" (2017), embraced a rawer punk energy that propelled them to major Spanish festival stages. After an extensive tour, they released "Héroes de la Transición" (2019), showcasing more polished musicianship while retaining their trademark biting wit.

Their fourth album, "CRIPTOPESETA" (2023), recorded at The Metal Factory with renowned producer Álex Cappa, featured collaborations with notable punk figures such as Aitor Ibarretxe (Lendakaris Muertos), Pirri (Escuela de Odio), Tesa, and Diego Varea (Sons of Aguirre). Continuing to evolve, XpresidentX released the politically charged EP "Problemas del Primer Mundo" (2025), including a collaboration with rapper Hora Zulu. Their latest release, "GARROTE VIL" (2026), reinforces their status as fierce commentators on contemporary issues delivered with uncompromising energy and razor-sharp irony.

XpresidentX remains a compelling force blending music and satire to challenge and engage audiences across Spain and beyond.
