This one hour talk will examine the case for Environmental (Ecological) Feminism and explore the connection between climate change and ecofeminism. Ecofeminism uses the core idea of equality between genders and a view of the world that respects organic processes, holistic connections and the merit of intuition and collaboration. This philosophy of seeing Mother Earth and women in a similar way suggests that we have to reconsider norms, start valuing nature as sacred, recognise our dependency on Earth and embrace all lives as valuable.
