Description
Join this pandemic-friendly soft slab construction class taught by Gina Zycher. She is well known for her lively ceramic creations, full of personality. During the class, you will learn how to make a small sculpture. You’ll start by rolling out wet clay into a flat and malleable slab with a rolling pin and then manipulating the slab into a cylinder to make a cup and vase or a planter. Then, discuss ways to embellish your pieces using slabs to build your pottery, which will give you unique shapes and styles that are fun to both create and use! A great class for beginners as well as those with previous clay experience!
