Description
The works of Debussy and Chausson are presented for your hearing pleasure during this French Impressions concert! Both Debussy and Chausson were passionate about the visual arts, yet the two men reacted quite differently to the Impressionist movement. Come and join us as we hear performances of Debussy’s Violin Sonata in G minor and Chausson’s Concerto for piano, violin and string quartet, Op.21, and explore the ways in which the artistic trends of the time are reflected in these magnificent works by two master composers.
