Description
This year's New Year's Eve concert of the Hannoversche Hofkapelle is under the motto "WOMEN!"
With works by the Italian Baroque composer Antonia Bembo and the male composers G.Ph. Telemann, A. Vivaldi, G.Fr. Händel, female characters from the baroque music literature are sung and played in all their facets. Thus there are heroines, furies, lovers, madwomen and even loose women..., in fact everything that makes a WOMAN.
As female reinforcement, the Hannoversche Hofkapelle has invited soprano Johanna Ihrig this year. Actress Alix Dudel will perform humorous texts on the topic.
An event of the City of Hanover in cooperation with the Hannoversche Hofkapelle.
