Candlelight: Christmas Classics brings the music of the season to St Mary's Episcopal Cathedral in Edinburgh. A string quartet plays carols and Christmas favourites live, surrounded by candles, in a 60-minute concert.
This concert experience is a tribute. It is not associated with, endorsed by or sponsored by the artist, their heirs or their official representatives.
On the day How it works
Arrive early
Doors open 45 minutes before the concert. Late entry is not permitted once the concert has started.
Find your seat
Seats are not numbered: they are taken on a first-come, first-served basis within the zone on your ticket.
Let the music take over

Absolutely amazing!!!! I would recommend!! I would probably go in further back to be honest, I was up front and if I went back I'd go into the further sections because it isn't a large theater so you're not missing anything, it lasted an hour and it was gorgeous!

St Mary’s Episcopal Cathedral is a Victorian Gothic masterpiece in Edinburgh’s West End. Designed by Sir George Gilbert Scott, the building is distinguished by its three prominent spires. Inside, the grand nave and intricate stonework create a serene environment, marking it as a significant landmark of Scotland’s architectural heritage.

What are the different ticket types?
Premium: premium visibility. Zone A: excellent visibility. Zone B: great visibility. Zone C: good visibility. Zone D: fair visibility. Music Only: low or no visibility because of the large pillars.
Can I buy tickets at the venue?
Tickets are not available for purchase at the venue. All tickets must be bought through the Fever app or website before you arrive at the event.
How do I book a ticket for my carer?
Guests who need assistance throughout the experience are entitled to apply for one free pass for their personal assistant or support worker. Please get in touch through the Fever contact form with proof that you need a carer ticket. Once we receive it, we will give you a voucher code you can use to buy your free carer ticket. Please keep in mind that you will have to show it, along with your tickets, to enter the venue. Each carer ticket needs to be bought together with at least one other full-price ticket. Here are some of the documents we accept: middle or higher rate DLA for care and/or mobility; receipt of Personal Independence Payment (PIP); evidence of being severely sight impaired; CredAbility Access Card with at least one category requirement.
Is there an age requirement for the event?
All guests must be 8 years old or older to attend. Anyone under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
Where can I find my ticket?
You can find your ticket in the Tickets section of the Fever app, which you can download from the Apple App Store or Google Play. Please remember to log in with the same method you used to make the purchase. You will also find your QR code in your purchase confirmation email.
Can I change my ticket?
Subject to availability, changes of date and time are permitted up to 48 hours before the start time of your experience. To request one, get in touch through the Fever contact form and give your ticket ID. Refunds are not allowed under any circumstances, unless you bought a Flexible Cancellation ticket. For more information, see Fever's terms and conditions.
What is a Flexible Cancellation ticket?
A Flexible Cancellation ticket lets you ask for a refund or exchange your ticket if you decide not to attend the experience.
When can I return my Flexible Cancellation ticket?
Up to 48 hours before the experience starts. It becomes non-refundable once the ticket has been transferred.
What documents do I need to cancel my ticket?
No documentation is needed.
How long does a refund take and how will I receive it?
If you paid by credit card or PayPal, it takes 10 days or more to appear on your statement. If you paid with a voucher, you will receive a new voucher in the app.
Will I get a full refund?
Yes, except for the 10% Flexible Cancellation fee.
If I opt for an exchange, when will I receive the new ticket?
The voucher is issued straight away, for the same value, and can be used on the same experience.
How do I request my refund?
Request it through the Fever contact form, choosing the Flexible Cancellation request type.

St Mary's Cathedral, 23 Palmerston Place, Edinburgh, EH12 5AW.
How do I get to the venue?
The three spires of St Mary's dominate the skyline of the West End of Edinburgh and are clearly visible as you look west along Princes Street. The cathedral's main entrance is on Palmerston Place, some ten minutes' walk from the West End of Princes Street and five minutes from Haymarket Station. Numerous buses and trams on the way to Haymarket stop near the bottom of Palmerston Place, on Haymarket Terrace, a few hundred yards from the cathedral. The cathedral is also on the City Centre East West Link cycleway, and cyclists are very welcome to attach their bikes to the railings.
Is there food served?
There will be a fully stocked bar for refreshments and alcoholic drinks.
Can I bring animals?
Animals are not allowed, except for service animals.
Does this venue have disability access?
Yes, the venue is wheelchair accessible.
Is there parking available?
The venue has no parking of its own. However, there are a limited number of spaces available on the street, plus car parks close by, the closest being Parking Quay.
Are the candles real? Are they flammable?
For everyone's safety, the candles are LED: they recreate the glow of a flame without real fire, so they don't burn and pose no risk.
Can I take photos or record videos? Can I use my phone during the performance?
Please keep your phone on silent throughout the performance. Photos and videos are only allowed when the musicians say so, and always without flash.
Is there a dress code? What should I wear?
There is no dress code. We recommend dressing comfortably, in clothes suited to the season.
How are seats assigned? Can we sit together?
Seats are not numbered: they are assigned on arrival, first come first served, within the zone you purchased. To sit together, your whole group needs to arrive at the same time with tickets for the same zone.
