On opening night, Brian doesn't show up. The curtain doesn't rise. Ticket holders are turned away, and the future of the theatre hangs in the balance. As the story unfolds, it becomes clear that Brian had more than one opportunity to come clean but chose silence instead.
Did he try to protect his career at the expense of others? Has an entire community paid the price? Or did the production demand more from him than any performer should?
