Join Fulham Palace's head gardener Lucy Hart for an intimate, hands-on masterclass in the art of winter pruning wisteria.
Winter is the perfect time to prune wisteria, helping to shape the plant, encourage healthy growth and prepare it for a beautiful display of flowers in spring. In this practical workshop, Lucy will take you through the principles behind successful pruning, from understanding which growth to remove to knowing where and how to make each cut.
You'll explore the reasons behind different pruning techniques and discover how these principles can be applied to a range of other plants in your own garden.
