Description
On this tour, you’ll be able to see the city’s first slave market and learn about the origins of slavery in colonial New York. With your tour guide, you’ll learn about the secret escapes of the underground railroad and view a former stop along this famous route. The African burial ground is a powerful tribute to the country’s earliest known African and African American cemetery, which you’ll also have the chance to visit on the tour.
