Wie immer ist die Ausstellung ganz toll gemacht !

Die Ausstellung ist interessant und eignet sich gut fürs erstes Kennenlernen der Künstlerin Frida Kahlo. Der Preis ist jedoch für eine solche Ausstellungsart zu teuer. Immerhin schaut man nur die Projektionen an der Wand und nicht die wahren Bilder.

Viva Frida Kahlo is the first immersive staging of the works and remarkable life of the legendary Mexican artist. Elaborate all-around projections and sound effects create worlds of colour full of emotion: you experience the 1920s to 1940s and dive into Frida's colourful paintings and powerful self-portraits. Welcome to the Casa Azul in Coyoacán! No prior knowledge of art is needed.

Please note: the exhibition shows the life and work of Frida Kahlo. It also touches on illness, pain and personal misfortune. Please prepare your children for this before the visit.

How long does the visit take?

The immersive show lasts 60-70 minutes. Visiting time is not limited; allow around 90 minutes for your visit.

What age is the exhibition suitable for?

The audiovisual areas (VR, 360-degree showroom) are approved for ages 12 and over. Children aged 6 to 12 can visit accompanied by a parent, guardian or authorised adult (parental guidance). The 360-degree show and the VR experience are not suitable for children under 6.

What happens if I'm late?

Please arrive within the time slot on your ticket. Entry within the following 15 minutes is possible, if there is still room in the next slot.

Is the show available in English?

Yes. You can borrow headphones at the entrance and enjoy the show in English. You can also read the text panels in English via QR code.

Is the exhibition indoors?

Yes, the exhibition takes place entirely indoors at Raumfabrik Frankfurt.

Is the exhibition accessible?

Yes, the exhibition rooms are accessible by wheelchair or walker. The companion of a person with a disability (marked "B") gets free admission, no separate ticket needed. There are no wheelchairs to borrow on site.

Is there any information about light effects or epilepsy?

The show contains changing light intensities, projections and dynamic light effects. People with photosensitive epilepsy or strong light sensitivity should consider before visiting whether the experience is suitable for them.
