Description
Oli himself says that entering an exhibition is like entering the artist’s mind. Taking up the concept of the imaginary museum formulated by Malraux, Le Musée Imaginaire d’Oli follows this theory. Work by work, Oli unfolds a personal score, with each room representing an inner state: the shock of vocation and the doubts that follow, the flash of inspiration, the confrontation with others’ gazes… Oli’s approach is multicultural, mixing diverse geographical backgrounds and different arts: cinema, music, sport, contemporary art, popular culture, street art… Here, all hold the same weight; artistic hierarchies dissolve. Oli’s voice and those of the invited artists meet, but above all, each visitor gradually becomes an actor in the narrative: the imaginary museum becomes collective and universal.
