Description
Although their name invites speculation and theories of all kinds, behind 1111 are Fedra, Armas, and ru0001, three flesh-and-blood artists based in Madrid who established themselves as a collective in 2022. Thus, they formed a project that emerges from the intersection of three distinct trajectories converging in space-time: Fedra's classical training, Armas's drive for digital experimentation, and ru0001's urban impulse. In short, 1111 is a three-headed monster devouring new-school club rhythms, futuristic pop, and urban languages.
In early 2026, they confessed to having discarded a twenty-song album that would never see the light of day. A detail that reveals the meticulous and exhaustive way the trio works, which has finally found the balance it was looking for with Historia de Ángeles, their new album, featuring Claudio Safdie, Merina Gris, Hofe, and Kiliki. 1111 will present it live on January 22nd at LAUT in Barcelona.
