About the venueCalifornia State Railroad Museum
The California State Railroad Museum complex opened in 1976 and is a popular destination in Sacramento. It has over 225,000 sq ft of exhibit space and uses exhibits, docents, and restored railcars and locomotives to illustrate railroad history in California and the West. Over 500,000 visit the museum annually.

What are the different ticket types?
There are tickets for Zone A (great visibility), Zone B (good visibility), and Zone C (fair visibility).
Can I buy tickets at the venue?
Tickets are not available for purchase at the venue. All tickets must be purchased through the app or website (www.feverup.com) prior to arriving at the event.
Where can I find my ticket?
You can find your ticket in the "Tickets" section of the Fever app (you can download it from the Apple App Store or Google Play). Please remember to log in with the same login method used to make the purchase. You'll also find your QR code in your purchase confirmation email.
Can I change my ticket, and are refunds allowed?
Subject to availability, changes of date and/or time are permitted up to 48 hours before the start time of your experience — please contact us indicating your ticket ID. Refunds are not allowed under any circumstances. For more information, you can refer to our T&Cs.
What is the Flexible Refund Ticket?
The Flexible Refund Ticket (available for selected events) allows you to ask for a full refund in case you decide not to attend the experience.
How and when can I request my refund on a Flexible Refund Ticket?
You may return your Flexible Refund Ticket and get a full refund if you contact us up to 48 hours before the experience starts. No documentation is needed to claim your refund. Please note the ticket becomes non-refundable if it is transferred to another user. Contact us here to get your ticket refunded.
Can I book a ticket for my carer/caretaker?
Guests requiring assistance throughout the experience are entitled to apply for 1 free pass for their caretaker. Once you have purchased your ticket (it is essential to hold a valid ticket before applying), please contact us for more information.
Is there an age requirement for the event?
All guests must be 8 years old or older to attend. Anyone under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
How long does the experience last?
60 minutes. Doors open 45 minutes before the show. No entry once it starts.
Is the venue indoor or outdoor?
Indoor, with assigned seating.
Is there food served?
There will not be any food or drink at this event.
Where is the experience taking place, and how do I get there?
California State Railroad Museum — 125 I St, Sacramento, CA 95814. Take Interstate 80 East to West Sacramento; at the I-80/Business 80 split, follow Business 80 to Downtown Sacramento; as the freeway climbs over the Sacramento River, take the Interstate 5 North exit; exit at "J" Street (one-way, eastbound) and go two blocks to Fifth Street; turn left, then left again at "I" Street, and follow the overhead signs to "Old Sacramento/Railroad Museum."
Is there parking available?
Ridesharing is encouraged. Old Sacramento City Garage is located at 125 I St, Sacramento, CA 95814. A small number of limited-term, metered parking spaces are available on the streets of the Old Sacramento Waterfront (metered 10 a.m.–10 p.m.); these spaces are not suitable for guests staying longer than 90 minutes.
Can I bring animals?
Animals are not allowed, except for service animals.
Does this venue have disability access?
The California State Railroad Museum is ADA accessible.
Do I have to wear a mask?
We encourage all attendees to wear a mask, however this is not a requirement. This policy is subject to change.
