Description
Museo Guggenheim Bilbao announces the performance of Maren as part of the autumn edition of its Art & Music series, a proposal that combines live music, architecture, and contemporary art in an exclusive format in the museum Atrium sponsored by Kutxabank.
Maren will perform on Saturday, 12 December. She is undoubtedly one of the freshest voices with the greatest personality in the Spanish pop-indie scene. Born in Bilbao and raised in a music-rich environment, she stands out for her lyrical sensitivity, captivating voice, and a fresh approach that blends timeless indie-pop with contemporary nuances. With a natural and authentic style, she composes in Spanish, Basque, and English, establishing herself as a must-see talent on the national stage and festival circuit.
In this December concert, the artist will take a look back over her best-known songs and, in addition, present live the tracks from her highly anticipated new album, Ahaztu baino lehen. An intimate project recorded entirely in Basque, reflecting on identity, roots, and the process of growing older.
The Art & Music programme allows concertgoers to visit the exhibitions in a small group from 20:30 before the performances begin at 22:00, and to use the bar service that the Museum provides in the Atrium with drinks and pintxos (food and drink not included in the ticket price).
