Description
SYML will return to Barcelona on April 1, 2027, to offer a very special concert at Sala Apolo. Brian Fennell's project will arrive with SYML x Strings, a format conceived together with a string quartet that will allow his repertoire to be rediscovered from a different perspective, more intimate and immersive.
The concert will combine songs from his three studio albums, EPs, piano compositions, and new songs from what will be his fourth album, thus offering a first glimpse of the American musician's next creative chapter.
Translated as "simple" in Welsh, SYML is the solo project of Brian Fennell, a musician and composer from Seattle. Piano, minimalist synthesizers, string arrangements, and an ethereal voice are the essential elements of a language that moves between singer-songwriter, atmospheric pop, and a deeply cinematic sensibility.
His international projection began with Where's My Love, the song that became his great introduction. In 2023 he released his second album, The Day My Father Died, a deeply personal work marked by experiences such as loss, grief, and love, and collaborated with Lana Del Rey on her song Paris, Texas. His career continued in 2025 with Nobody Lives Here, his third studio album and the latest released to date.
