The goal of the Water Lantern Festival is to always leave the venues in a better state than we found them. In line with our "Leave No Trace" philosophy, we retrieve all lanterns after the event and even clear any pre-existing litter from the water. Our lanterns are 100% sustainable: they are made from biodegradable rice paper, wooden bases, and LED candles that are reused and recycled to reduce our environmental footprint.
